Conditions to participate

To participate, you must:

  1. You must live in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region and be between 15 and 35 years old

  2. Complete and submit the registration form to the CJE Vaudreuil-Soulanges before September 30, 2022

  3. Present a maximum of 1 to 2 works of visual art, covering a maximum exhibition area of 16 square feet (1.46 square m) = 48 inches X 48 inches (1.21 m X 1.21 m)

  4. Bring the works to the CJE no later than October 4, 2022, 4 p.m.

  5. Leave the works at the CJE from October 4, 2022 to December 20, 2022

  6. Be present at the opening night on October 17, 2022

  7. Be present at the closing party, December 12, 2022

Please note that participants can only  win once. In subsequent years, they will be able to participate in the exhibition in the non-competitive section.

Regulations:

  1.   The works remain the responsibility of the participant. The works thathave not been collected will become the property of the CJE as of January 13, 2023.

  2.   The participant must provide a description (title, format and medium used) accompanying each work. Business cards are strongly suggested.

  3. The artistic approach will be displayed with the works presented by the participant

  4. The works must be ready to exhibit (hook, frame, etc.) and be easily movable. Given the space constraints, only works in 2D format will be accepted (no sculpture or any other 3D work format).

  5. The works presented must not be contrary to morality (no violence, nudity or sexuality)

  6. The CJE Vaudreuil-Soulanges reserves the right to refuse any participant or any work that is not suitable for the purposes of the exhibition.

  7. The number of participants being limited, a pre-selection will be made.

  8. The CJE Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the organizing team of the exhibition are released from any responsibility with regard to the works belonging to the participants (no insurance protection for the works)

  9. This last clause also includes the movement and transport of the works from one place to another. The CJE is therefore released from all liability in this regard.

  10. The presence of the participants is strongly desired during the opening and closing evening of Vocation en Art! The coordinates of the artists becoming public through Vocation en art!, the CJE Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the organizing team of the exhibition disclaim any form of solicitation that could be made to the participants on the part of external partners. .

Note that the jury's analysis criteria will be creativity, originality and mastery of the medium.
